About Hindi to Japanese Translation

Hindi to Japanese translation is growing fast in India. Japanese is spoken by about 125 million people and is written with three scripts together: hiragana, katakana, and kanji. Hindi and Japanese both put the verb at the end of the sentence and use postpositions, so Hindi speakers often find Japanese word order easier than English. India now has one of the fastest growing groups of JLPT test takers, driven by Japan's Specified Skilled Worker visa for caregivers, nurses, and technicians, IT jobs in Tokyo, and Japanese companies like Suzuki, Toyota, and Honda in Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, and the Neemrana zone in Rajasthan. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project has added even more Hindi-Japanese work contact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Hindi to Japanese translation free?
Yes, it is completely free with no signup, word limit, or hidden charges.
Why does Japanese use three scripts?
Hiragana (ひらがな) is used for grammar and native words, katakana (カタカナ) for foreign words like インド (Indo, India), and kanji (漢字) are Chinese characters for meaning. A normal sentence mixes all three, which is why we also give romaji pronunciation.
Is Japanese grammar similar to Hindi?
Yes, more than most people expect. Both follow subject-object-verb order. "मैं पानी पीता हूँ" and "私は水を飲みます" (Watashi wa mizu o nomimasu) place the words in the same order, and Japanese particles like は, を, and に work like Hindi postpositions ने, को, and में.
Will this help me prepare for JLPT N5 or N4?
It is a good support tool for learning vocabulary and checking sentences. The common phrases and numbers on this page are part of the N5 level, but you should also study grammar and kanji from a proper JLPT course.
What is romaji and which system do you use?
Romaji is Japanese written in Roman letters. We use Hepburn romaji, the most common system, written without macrons so it is easy to type. A long vowel is written as a double letter, for example Arigatou and Juu.
