Frequently asked questions
How do I extract emails from text?
Paste your text into the input box and click Extract. All email addresses found in the text appear in the output box, one per line, ready to copy.
Does the email extractor remove duplicates?
Yes. Each address is listed once, in the order it first appears. Addresses are lowercased so that [email protected] and [email protected] count as the same address.
Is my text uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. Extraction runs entirely in your browser. Your text is not sent to a server, so it is safe to use with private lists.
What email formats does it recognise?
It finds standard addresses such as [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected], including dots, underscores, hyphens, percent signs, and plus signs before the @. Addresses with unusual quoted or internationalized local parts may not be matched.
Is there a limit on how much text I can paste?
There is no fixed limit in the tool. Very large inputs depend on your browser and device memory, so for huge files split the text into parts.
Can I extract other things like URLs or phone numbers?
Yes. Use the Text Extraction Tools page to extract URLs, phone numbers, dates, numbers, or your own custom pattern.
